Volunteered

As you can see, it's good to be in demand.

You can tell North Carolina's General Assembly's 2005 session is creeping closer and closer. I'm getting called upon, and getting important training, for exciting new missions.

After deservedly becoming a "Ghost Site," maverick state Senator Hugh Webster wants to know why his Web Site hasn't been updated since August, 2002.

I had hopes this responsibility was a torch long passed, but no such luck. Of course the real reason Senator Hugh's website hasn't been updated is because Senator Webster hasn't been updated.

That's not completely true. He once insisted, "I check my Email regularly. Every Christmas." No longer. It appears he now has surrendered to the 21st Century and can be counted upon to check his private traffic at least once a week, before tax season in Caswell County robs him of all available time in the coming weeks, and has his legislative Email checked, currently by Bill Gheen, daily.

Meanwhile, like a decimated Confederate regiment, having been recombined with other forces under new commanders, I'm, once again, being fitted for a another series of bombing runs for The North Carolina Senate Republican Caucus.

"Angels and Ministers of Grace, protect us."
